I am a quantitative biologist. In 2021–2022 I led allocation analytics at Booz Allen for the White House COVID-19 H-CORE test-kit mission. We used the CDC Social Vulnerability Index instead of a custom model so the rule was explainable to HHS and could be used the same month. I now review scientific evidence used to train biological AI.
